James Abrahart built his first business, Interfax Systems Plc. into one of the leading independent providers of office solutions in the United Kingdom. In 1995, he sold the business to Ikon Office Solutions, part of the then Alco Standard Group, a $12 billion dollar US quoted company.
He has since built Altodigital to be one of the largest independent office technology solutions companies in the UK, with 15 UK offices and over 500 employees. Altodigital has partnerships with many of the leading sports brands in the world, and through these connections, James has helped grow Global Image Sports. James is also an active entrepreneurial investor with several business and property interests in the UK and in the USA.
James is responsible for establishing senior level corporate partnerships that enhance growth opportunities for GIS events, athletes and partners.
Martin has played football/soccer all his life and loves the sport, playing for the same club for over 20 years in different amateur leagues in the UK. A lifelong Arsenal fan, Martin still plays today, in tournament capacity.
He is a commercially driven business advisor, with a wealth of experience in building businesses including sales strategies, company structure and internal processes. In addition, he has a wealth of IT/Technology knowledge, and advises several independent companies and is currently the Management Information and Systems/Operations Director for Altodigital in the UK, where he is responsible for identifying and integrating acquisitions into Altodigital, as well as group operations, business analysis, strategic direction, business modelling and developing common business objectives.
Darran joined GIS in late 2015 having been employed in the Sports & Higher Education Sectors in the UK for the previous 5 years. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law (specialising in European Legal Frameworks and Contract Law). He also holds an FA UEFA B Licence and all 3 of the FA Youth Coaching Awards.
He oversees most of the day-to-day operations within GIS from administration, tours & communications to finance, governance and procedures. He is also the direct liaison on the ground in Europe with the professional clubs and serves as the main UK point of contact for their needs. Darran directly supervises and manages the GIS European Residential Academy, based in Verona, Italy for 9 months each year, being fluent in Italian and to a lesser extent, French & German. In addition, looks after the high-level requirements for GIS operations in Oceania and South-East Asia.
