James Abrahart built his first business, Interfax Systems Plc. into one of the leading independent providers of office solutions in the United Kingdom. In 1995, he sold the business to Ikon Office Solutions, part of the then Alco Standard Group, a $12 billion dollar US quoted company.
He has since built Altodigital to be one of the largest independent office technology solutions companies in the UK, with 15 UK offices and over 500 employees. Altodigital has partnerships with many of the leading sports brands in the world, and through these connections, James has helped grow Global Image Sports. James is also an active entrepreneurial investor with several business and property interests in the UK and in the USA.
James is responsible for establishing senior level corporate partnerships that enhance growth opportunities for GIS events, athletes and partners.
Simon is a highly experienced member of our team. He's is an ex-Professional Footballer, with over 271 Football League appearances for Swansea City, Carlisle United, Preston North End and Darlington.
Post his professional playing career, Simon was Director of Youth for Preston North End for 7 years, former Academy Director of Barnsley FC and First Team Manager of Barnsley FC, Darlington and Hereford United. He took Barnsley to the FA Cup Semi-Finals in 2008, beating Liverpool and Chelsea on route.
He's also a South Eastern Club Champions League Board Member and South Atlantic Premier League President of the Board. Additionally he's the ESPN Disney Soccer Academy Director.
Martin has played football/soccer all his life and loves the sport, playing for the same club for over 20 years in different amateur leagues in the UK. A lifelong Arsenal fan, Martin still plays today, in tournament capacity.
He is a commercially driven business advisor, with a wealth of experience in building businesses including sales strategies, company structure and internal processes. In addition, he has a wealth of IT/Technology knowledge, and advises several independent companies and is currently the Management Information and Systems/Operations Director for Altodigital in the UK, where he is responsible for identifying and integrating acquisitions into Altodigital, as well as group operations, business analysis, strategic direction, business modelling and developing common business objectives.
Stewart became part of the GIS team in September 2016. His past experiences in China and with US college based soccer make him the perfect individual to assist GIS and its network of clients and customers with expanding their operation into Northern Asia. He also provides support, guidance and a managed service to players from across the world who want to pursue a world-class education in a North American University as part of a wider aim to continue to play competitive soccer.
Stewart graduated with a Bachelors of Science in mathematical economics and a minor in Chinese from the University of Alabama Birmingham, which included a stint at Minzu University in Beijing China. Before University, he was offered a professional contract at Sheffield Wednesday F.C. but decided to pursue a university degree instead. He received a full scholarship to play at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, Division 1 men’s soccer program, which resulted in him winning Conference USA in his freshman year and securing the 3rd most minutes on the team.
