A GIS Player’s Story

What exactly does the road to an Elite Trip with GIS look like?  Just take our GIS player Devin Reinhardt as a great example.  Devin first attended a Global Image Sports ID camp in the summer of 2013.  His family drove over 10 hours from Charlotte, North Carolina to Greenwich, Connecticut in order to attend the West Ham United ID Camp at Shoreline FC.  Devin performed well and was invited to the West Ham National Camp in Rome, GA that summer.  It was an incredible learning experience for Devin – and despite the fact he missed out on the invitation to the Elite Trip in London – the feedback and help he received were all useful in helping his overall development.

Devin was not willing to give up and was determined to earn a spot to train in Europe.  The following summer in 2014, Devin attended another West Ham United camp but also decided to try another GIS ID Camp, this time with FC Utrecht.  Devin earned dual National Camp invitations and attended back to back West Ham United and FC Utrecht National Camps in Rome, GA.  He had an incredible time, experienced true academy training and made great new friends.

Devin’s hard work and persistence paid off and he earned the exclusive invitation to train at West Ham Academy in April of 2015.  But he did not stop there!  In the summer of 2015, he went back to Rome, GA and was again invited to train in London at the West Ham United Academy for the second consecutive year and looks forward to his trip this April, 2016. Devin’s plan for the upcoming summer is to broaden his experiences and seek out additional opportunities with Wolves, Stoke City, and Rangers, another fantastic benefit that GIS can help provide for our young players.
